FEATURED MINIATURIST: Madeline Thoman of La Vie Mini
Blogs and websites that inspire, UncategorizedOne of my favorite things about Flip This (Mini) House is that it helps me connect with other miniaturists. Madeline Thoman of La Vie Mini recently got in touch with me. I just had a chance to check out her website and it’s AMAZING. If you love all things mini, like I do, you’ll adore her curated ensemble of interesting stories and tiny treasures.
One of the more fascinating posts is this one about a father who created a dollhouse grave for his daughter.

There’s a definite dark, beautiful quirkiness associated with dollhouses and miniatures, and La Vie Mini captures it perfectly.

Bohemian Inspiration
Blogs and websites that inspireThis doesn’t happen very often! Here’s a blog that’s so delightful that I’m sharing it on both Holly Recommends and Flip This (Mini) House. Thanks to my friend Janet for seeing this in the first place and recognizing how much full-size and mini-size inspiration I’d find in it.

Blogs and websites that inspireand you’d like to help kids with cancer, please consider donating to the wonderful cause Dollhouses for Kids Battling Cancer. I’m not affiliated with this cause; I’ve only even heard of it for the past few months, but I’m so moved by their generosity and devotion. Here’s a website where you can buy dollhouse kits for them to build at very discounted costs. I believe you can also send them your extra, unwanted dollhouse furniture and accessories. Contact them via their Facebook page for more information.
